CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This classic red grape variety is native to the Bordeaux region of France, but is widely planted across the world.  Cabernet Sauvignon is a vigorous variety, but our shallow vineyard soils and windy West Texas conditions come together to limit vigor and create high quality fruit.   It is usually made into a dry complex wine.

This white grape variety is highly aromatic and has rich orange notes.  It is an old variety and is believed to be native to the Mediterranean areas of Europe.  This grape is truly an explosion of flavors when tasted fresh. It is usually made into a sweet wine but is also a treat as a dry wine.

A white grape variety with a long history that is native to Germany.  It is one of the world’s great grape varieties. It is planted on a part of the vineyard that has higher clay content soil along with caliche close to the surface of the soil which reduces vigor which allows full flavor development  in our high elevation vineyard. It makes wines full of deep aroma and plenty of flavor. It can be made as a sweet, semi-sweet or dry wine.
